Turn Around Time?

I work this business alone and for the most part I've got it under control, but lately due to the additional volume as a result of the present war in Iraq and Afghanistan, my lead time has been stretched somewhat compared to a year ago.

My turn around time will very depending on the volume of orders and who is actually placing the order. I work on a "1st in-1st out" basis, with the following exceptions;

1.    All Active Duty Personnel have priority status and their orders will be processed immediately upon receipt. These are all orders shipped to an FPO, APO address or any Military Base, and all orders that include certificates issued for the current Afghanistan, Iraq War regardless of the shipping address.

2.    I also have a Standing Purchase Order with the Naval Hospital in Lemoore CA to provide PUC and CAR Certificates for their returning FMF Corpsman, and these orders can sometimes be large and time consuming.

3.    The Multi Medals Certificate will take longer based on the fact that each one is unique to the individual and very time consuming to compile, print, frame and ship.

My present turn around time for the conventional certificate orders is running approximately 2 to 3 weeks.
